After a mad one-month rush to create new works reflecting the quote “We are symbols and inhabit symbols,” I’m thrilled to announce the gallery opening. Inspired by Japanese boro (patched clothing), folk quilts, and those jeans that I’ll never throw out, I’ve created several works made entirely from worn denim and embroidery thread.
