“Say What?” Gallery Opening This Friday

After a mad one-month rush to create new works reflecting the quote “We are symbols and inhabit symbols,” I’m thrilled to announce the gallery opening. Inspired by Japanese boro (patched clothing), folk quilts, and those jeans that I’ll never throw out, I’ve created several works made entirely from worn denim and embroidery thread.

Say What? Contemporary Art Gallery in Tannersville, New York announces the second show of it’s inaugural season with a reception for the artists, Friday, February 8th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. We hope you will join us.
Say What? Gallery asks artists to respond to a gallery-selected quote. “We are symbols and inhabit symbols,” – Ralph Waldo Emerson, is the theme of this new exhibition.
This group show includes works by Elena Agostinis, LaThoriel Badenhausen, Billy Copley, Sarah Divi, Keith Duquette, Adrienne Ottenberg and Leslie Pelino
The exhibit runs from February 8, 2013 through March 25, 2013. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p. m.
